We heard from physician feedback that high, episodic payments for continuing certification activities were burdensome, so we have introduced an annual fee with lower, spread-out payments. All physicians in a 5-year certification cycle have an annual fee.

How many years is your current ABEM certificate valid for?

The activity fee for each module is $375. When you renew your certificate, you will move to a 5-year cycle and an annual fee that covers the cost of modules.
