The ABEM Foundation

The ABEM Foundation was formed to support programs and research projects that promote the ABEM mission of ensuring the highest standards in the specialty of Emergency Medicine.

Research

Research conducted by the Foundation aims to strengthen the value of certification and the delivery of emergency care. Projects that support this vision include solutions to physician burnout, how physicians can best maintain competency over the course of their careers, and validation of certification processes.

About the Foundation

The ABEM Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. At this time, the Foundation does not review unsolicited grant proposals.

Collaboration

The ABEM Foundation convenes leaders in the specialty to address concerns such as access to emergency care, medical professionalism, ensuring the certification process is relevant and fair, and advancing the specialty.
