The EMS Subboard met November 14-15 in East Lansing, Michigan. During the business meeting, the Subboard approved a working group to review the Core Content of EMS Medicine and supported conducting a job analysis survey. They also discussed the disparate state requirements for EMS Medical Directors, with some states moving away from requiring board certification. The Subboard also appointed Alexander P. Isakov, M.D., as Chair-Elect. The remaining day and a half was spent on item development.
